Dance Camp

About Our Camp

Community Circle Dance Camp (CCDC) is a unique collaboration of the San Francisco Ballet Center for Dance Education and other community partners. We provide children with a weeklong experience in dance, music, and art. Our camp is for boys and girls ages 7-14, and no previous dance experience is necessary.

A typical day for a CCDC participant consists of four dance classes, one music class, and a visual art class. Dance classes may include hip-hop, world dance, choreography, or circus arts.

Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided for all of our campers. At CCDC, we emphasize the importance of good nutrition with our students, since a healthy diet is imperative to maintain a strong, fit body.

We also provide make available early-morning drop-off at 8:45am and late-afternoon pickup until 5:00pm at no additional cost.

The one-week camp includes a special field trip to San Francisco Ballet, where students get a behind-the-scenes look at dance, meet professional ballet dancers, and have the opportunity to take a ballet class in a state-of-the-art dance studio.

The week culminates with a special celebration demonstrating to friends and family the students' experience in dance, music, and art.

Our staff of professional dancers, musicians, and artists believe in the power of positive regard and embrace the dancer in everyone.

Camp Fees

$250 per student for the week

Full and partial scholarships are available for low- and middle-income families!

In order to qualify for a full scholarship, verification of low-income status must be provided by one of the following:

** Free/Reduced School Lunch eligibility letter
** Copy of Medi-Cal Card

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee.
   
    One child: $15.00
    Two to four children: $20.00
    Groups of five or more children: $25.00
